Amman Airport, otherwise known as Queen Alia International Airport, is named after the third wife of the late King Hussein of Jordan.
The airport is located in the Zizya area, about 32 kilometres south of Amman. A new rail line is being built that will link Amman Airport with central and downtown Amman. There are two passenger terminals at Amman Airport.
The airport also has two lounges, one of which is the Royal Jordanian Crown Lounge which can be used by Etihad Diamond First Class and Pearl Business Class passengers.
