It enables you to work onboard Etihad’s modern fleet, after obtaining your Airline Transport Pilot License. Cadet Pilot Programme Structure

We offer two streams of the Cadet Pilot Program - the first one for University Graduates and the second for those who have graduated High School (or equivalent).

STREAM 1 - Cadet Pilot Program for University Graduates

• Learn how to fly at Horizon International Flight Academy in Al Ain. • Once you successfully complete Phase 1, you will obtain a Commercial Pilot's License known as the Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL). • After graduation, you will do a Type Rating Conversion Course on a specific aircraft.
• Master the technical skills necessary to obtain a commercial licence. • You are now qualified to join Etihad Airways as a Second Officer. • Then you will complete your Line Training as a Second Officer ( up to 12 months), after which you will become a First Officer.
• Your performance will be monitored and assessed via assignments, exams, attendance, punctuality and instructor feedback.

The programme is structured in a way to give you the required foundation through classroom training and workplace experience. During the first year, you will be working in the Etihad UAE offices to have a solid understanding of sales in the airline. Year two and three will be an international assignment at one of Etihad’s destinations. On successful completion of the program you will be placed in one of Etihad’s overseas locations as a Sales Manager.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Programme

Etihad Airways operate one of the youngest fleet in the world. And we have a great team of engineers who ensure that our aircraft run smoothly all the time. In twelve months, you will get a chance to work in every section of our diverse finance department including Finance Reporting, Financial Planning, Treasury, Procurement, and Properties. Audit Programme

The Internal audit function is designed to review what, why, who, when and how a company is doing in order to recognize possible threads or opportunity loss to the organization's strength, operations and success. It is also designed to add value and improve the organization processes by introducing the best practices used within similar business type or industry.

Audit Program Structure

The program duration is for 24 months where the candidate works closely with the Management team of the department. For each assignment, the graduates will be assigned to a Senior Manager or Manager Internal Audit.  

In the first year, the graduates will rotate through the various units within the department (Assurance, Risk, Ethics, IT and Partner Companies). You will have the chance to take part in all the audit phases - planning, fieldwork and reporting for corporate and outstation audit assignments. Apart from the on-job-training, graduates will also be given opportunity to gain auditing and business skills through variety of conferences, external and internal trainings.

Upon completion of the first year, based on performance, the graduate auditor will be given an opportunity to choose an area of specialization. The graduate will be assigned in the areas agreed where they will be given opportunity to obtain professional qualification such as but not limited to CPA, CIA and CISA.  

After successful graduation from the program, you will be placed within the Department as an Internal Auditor.
