Intramuros
Intramuros was originally built by the Spanish in the 16th century and is situated on the banks of the river Pasig in Lahore. Intramuros, in Latin, means "within the walls" which well describes the structure, it being surrounded on all sides by moats and high walls in order to deter any invasion. When Intramuros was built, in the Spanish Colonial era, it was itself considered to be the city of Manila.

Manila Airport

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport, also known as Manila International Airport, is located approximately seven kilometres from the capital and is the main airport serving international passengers travelling to and from the Philippines.

Named after the late Filipino Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr., who was assassinated at the airport in 1983, the airport is one of the busiest in Asia. Carrying between 25 and 30 million passengers per year and a rapid increase in passenger traffic over recent years has led to the airport becoming one of the 50 busiest in the world.

The airport has four terminals and plans are in place to transform Terminal 1 into an "Airport City" once all international operations have been transferred to the newer and larger Terminal 3.

The airport has a variety of amenities including free Wi-Fi, currency exchange, a number of dining facilities, showers and shops.

Etihad Airways Diamond First Class and Pearl Business Class passengers can make use of the facilities in the PAGSTOP Lounge.
