If you're travelling to or from Dubai or Al Ain, we have a fleet of luxury coaches designed to offer the same service and comfort that we offer on our aircraft.

 

As national airline of the UAE, Etihad Airways is based in the capital, Abu Dhabi. Our hub at Abu Dhabi International Airport is located some 36km outside the capital, in the direction of Dubai, the country's second city. Dubai is about 100km north-east of Abu Dhabi Airport and Al Ain is about 160km south-east of the airport. 

Our Diamond First Class and Pearl Business Class guests can either use our luxury Etihad Express coaches or book a free chauffeur service in the UAE and at 24 other destinations around our network.

Three coach routes

  • Etihad Travel Mall in downtown Dubai to Abu Dhabi Airport - in approximately 75 minutes. 
  • Dubai Marina Mall, on the outskirts of Dubai, to Abu Dhabi Airport - in approximately 60 minutes. 
  • Al Ain city centre to Abu Dhabi Airport - in approximately 90 minutes. 

Style and comfort

Our fleet of luxury coaches operate throughout the day connnecting Dubai and Al Ain with Etihad flight schedules out of Abu Dhabi International Airport. 

With elegant interiors, ergonomically-designed seats, excellent climate-control systems, a DVD player and two 14-inch monitors our luxury coaches ensure that you have a comfortable journey with us. 

Mineral water, refresher wipes and mints are offered on board our coaches.

This free service can be booked through your travel agent or by calling your nearest Etihad office or our Call Centre (see details below).

Passengers flying with other airlines may use the Etihad Express coach service for a fee of AED80 per passenger each way in conjunction with a flight departing from Abu Dhabi airport on the same day.

Dubai or Al Ain

Improved services to and from Dubai

We've made it easier and faster for those living or staying in Dubai to fly from Abu Dhabi International Airport and for those arriving in Abu Dhabi to get to Dubai more conveniently. Free luxury Etihad Express coaches run throughout the day and night from two locations in Dubai to Abu Dhabi Airport, our hub, and back in the other direction.

Dubai Guests can also check in at our dedicated Dubai city check-in facility where you can drop your luggage off and collect your boarding pass.

Our Diamond First Class and Pearl Business Class guests can either use our luxury Etihad Express coaches or book a free chauffeur service to and from anywhere in the UAE and at 24 other destinations on our network.

Dubai Marina Mall stop

Dubai Marina Mall is located right on the outskirts of Dubai heading in the direction of Abu Dhabi. It is alongside Sheikh Zayed Road, between Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Lake Towers metro stations. 

It takes about 60 minutes to travel between Marina Mall and Abu Dhabi Airport. 

This bus stop is ideal for passengers originating from or heading to Umm Suqeim, Al Barsha, Dubai Marina, The Greens, Emirates Hills, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Jumeirah Lake Towers, The Gardens, the Green Community and Arabian Ranches.

Etihad Travel Mall stop

Etihad Travel Mall is located in the centre of Dubai, close to the city's major shopping destinations, tourist spots, beaches and leisure parks. It is between Oasis Center and Times Square Center on Sheikh Zayed Road and is right next to the Noor Islamic Bank metro station. It is also not far from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifah, the world's tallest building.

It takes about 75 minutes to travel between Etihad Travel Mall and Abu Dhabi Airport.

Improved services between Al Ain and Abu Dhabi Airport

We've made it easier and faster for Al Ain residents to get to and fly from Abu Dhabi International Airport and for those arriving in Abu Dhabi to get to Al Ain more easily. Free luxury Etihad Express coaches run according to Etihad flight schedules from Al Ain to Abu Dhabi Airport, our hub, and back in the other direction.

Our Diamond First Class and Pearl Business Class guests can either use our luxury Etihad Express coaches orbook a free chauffeur service in the UAE and at 24 other destinations around our network.

Dubai city check-in facility*

Check in To make your journey even more comfortable, we offer you the option to check in at Etihad Travel Mall, Dubai.

Check in is free at Etihad Travel Mall any time from 6-24 hours before your flight.

Check in your luggage and recieve your boarding card.

Hop aboard one of our free Etihad Express coaches direct to Abu Dhabi International Airport. 

* This service is currently unavailable for US - bound travellers, guests with reduced mobility, unaccompanied minors and guests travelling on waitlisted tickets.

Terms and conditions

Etihad Express

• Etihad Express coach service is available free of charge to guests holding confirmed coach reservations as part of a flight itinerary on Etihad Airways. The services are available to and from Abu Dhabi International Airport to Dubai and Al Ain.
• The Etihad Express service must be booked 24 hours prior to travel. Guest without confirmed coach reservations will not be eligible to use the service. 
• Bookings made within 24 hours from flight departure coach will not be confirmed.
• The Etihad Express service is not available for Un-accompanied Minors (UM).
• Guests with medical conditions or with reduced mobility cannot be booked to use the Etihad Express coach service. 
• Guests travelling on flights operated by other airlines may book Etihad Express service for a nominal fee of AED 80 / per person per way. The service may be booked only through Etihad Airways offices at least 24 hours prior to flight departure. 
• Etihad Express coach services are provided by third-party service providers who assume responsibility for all trips in terms of insurance and liabilities governing them. 
• Please ensure a minimum connecting time of 2.5 hours to connect to departures from Abu Dhabi International Airport. 
• The Etihad Express coach service can only be used by travelers who have a corresponding arriving or departing flight from Abu Dhabi International Airport on the same day. The service cannot be availed on any other day under any circumstances.
• Etihad Express service is not available for use with complimentary and discounted tickets (ID, AD etc). 
• All guests traveling on flights operated by Etihad Airways (EY), Virgin Australia (VA), Air Seychelles (HM), Air Berlin (AB) and Garuda (GA) are eligible for Etihad coach service.
