Islamabad International Airport, now known as Benazir Bhutto International Airport is the third largest airport in Pakistan, serving the capital of Islamabad and its surrounding area.
Around 5 million passengers each year use the airport, which was named after Benazir Bhutto, 11th Prime Minister of Pakistan and founder of the Pakistan People's Party.
The airport's passenger terminal contains different lounges for international and domestic economy passengers, with amenities including wireless internet, snack bars, satellite televisions and telephone and fax facilities.
The airport also contains a broad range of duty free shops, restaurants and banks as well as a number of souvenir and craft outlets and numerous mobile phone connection points.
