Following its successful cabin crew recruitment drive held earlier this year, Etihad Airways is once again seeking British nationals, with hospitality experience, looking to take their career high into the sky by joining the airline’s World Leading Cabin Crew. 

Aubrey Tiedt, Etihad Airways’ Vice President Guest Services, said: “In London we will be inviting up to 200 of the strongest candidates who meet our stringent criteria to attend the recruitment day.”

The recruitment day will take place in London on Tuesday, 3 June. It will offer applicants the opportunity to meet Etihad Airways’ recruitment specialists who will provide comprehensive information about living in Abu Dhabi and the dynamics of working with guests at 30,000 feet. 

“To support the rapid, dynamic expansion of Etihad Airways, we are pleased to return to London to host our recruitment drive. We hope to attract and recruit individuals who are incredibly passionate and dedicated to deliver remarkable hospitality. 

“Our previous recruitment drive in London was a great success. More than a third of the applicants were successful and have already started flying after their seven-week safety and service training at Etihad Airways’ state-of-the-art Training Academy in Abu Dhabi. We look forward to finding more incredible talent in London.

“Our team hails from more than 110 nationalities and enjoys great career development opportunities commencing as cabin crew, inflight chefs or food and beverage managers; progressing to onboard leadership and management roles,” Ms Tiedt said. 

More than 1,200 British nationals currently work for Etihad Airways, including 690 core staff, 360 cabin crew and 167 pilots. 

Cabin crew are all based in the vibrant city of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, with its cosmopolitan culture and wealth of world-class leisure, sports and entertainment activities. 

Along with many other benefits, cabin crew are also provided with company medical insurance and fully furnished company accommodation. 

Etihad Airways currently operates three flights a day from London Heathrow, as well as a twice daily service from Manchester to Abu Dhabi, where passengers can connect to its network of destinations in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. 

Etihad Airways has received a host of awards over the years reflecting its position as a world leading airline including the prestigious titles of World’s Leading Airline, World’s Leading First Class, and World’s Leading Airline Cabin Crew at the World Travel Awards held in November 2013 in Doha, Qatar.
