If you're flying in Business or Economy Class, you can now pay and upgrade to our First Class Lounge & Spa at Abu Dhabi Airport.

Enjoy a remarkable lounge experience with fine-dining prepared in-house by our Chefs, relax in the spa, work out in the Fitness Room or rest in the Relax and Recline Room.

A taste of what to expect when you step on board

First Class Lounge entrance

Unlike other lounges, you won’t have to queue at a desk when you arrive.

Only a few steps after security, you will be greeted by our Hostess, who will direct you upstairs to be personally introduced to the lounge.

We have concierge desks inside the lounge to deal with your ticketing and service requests, so you don’t have to leave until it’s time to fly.

We will take care of your bags for the duration of your stay in the cloakroom and will arrange for your clothes to be pressed while you are enjoying the lounge.

Invited guests

We invite the following guests to enjoy our First Class Lounge & Spa facilities:

  • The Residence guests
  • First Class guests
  • Etihad Guest Platinum member with one additional guest

In addition, you can also pay for walk-in access or upgrade to our First Class Lounge & Spa from our Business Class Lounge.

  • If you're flying in Business or Economy Class, you can choose from 2, 4 and 6 hour upgrade packages starting from USD 200 / AED 735.
  • As a First Class guest, you can invite a companion to join you in our First Class Lounge & Spa for USD 100 / AED 367 (Invited guest must be travelling in Business Class, on an Etihad Airways operated flight).
  • If you're an Etihad Guest Gold member travelling in Business Class, you have a preferential upgrade rate of USD 100 / AED 367.

All lounge access is subject to availability, so check with our lounge staff on your day of travel. Our First Class Lounge & Spa is open 24 hours a day.

Payment is by credit card and Etihad Guest Miles only.

VIP Room experience

Seclude yourself away in total luxury before your flight

You can now pay and upgrade to a VIP Room within our First Class Lounge & Spa at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Treat yourself to the luxury of a little extra space, comfort and privacy before your flight.  Unwind and relax in your own, private lounge and TV area, and allow our dedicated host to serve you refreshments in your exclusive dining area for up to four people.

Enjoy a spa treatment, and freshen up in your private bathroom and shower room, fully stocked with Acqua di Parma products. Immerse yourself in a selection of newspapers, magazines and books or simply rest, relax and recharge before your flight.

If you have access to the First Class Lounge & Spa at Abu Dhabi International Airport (inclusive or payable), you can book the exclusive VIP Room experience for an additional $100 / 11,500 Etihad Guest Miles.

The dining area

Choose from dining or casual seating areas, to enjoy our à la carte menus. We pride ourselves on making everything in-house, using the freshest ingredients.

Our signature dining has been designed to offer you options of a satisfying meal or an appetising bite.

Experience tastes from around the world with choices inspired by our home, Abu Dhabi and many of the destinations we fly to.

The Bar

Take a seat at our feature bar, where our mixologist will whip up cocktails or mocktails to your liking.

You can also enjoy a choice of premium spirits, wines from the Etihad cellar and a selection of beer.

Six Senses Spa

Our Six Senses Spa offers a range of complimentary and chargeable treatments, including massages and facials.

Fitness Room

If you have not had time to work out before your trip or you have a long flight ahead, then our Fitness Room offers the perfect solution.

It’s kitted out with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, free weights and yoga mats. Everything that gym addicts might need for their daily fix.

You can even freshen up with a shower afterwards.

Relax and Recline Room

If you need to use this time to gather your thoughts, visit our Relax and Recline Room.

Recline on our comfortable Poltrona Frau leather chairs and enjoy a sensory experience with a combination of soothing sounds and imagery on our video wall. Any sounds from the main Lounge will fade so you can lose yourself for a few minutes, or maybe longer.

Play Room

Our smallest guests will also have their own area to play during your stay with us.

Our Play Room has a Nanny on duty at all times. You can relax knowing your little ones are in safe hands and have plenty of activities and games, including a Playstation, to keep them amused. 

Children will also be offered their own range of healthy meals and snacks for them to enjoy.

Cigar Lounge

For cigar aficionados, we have the First Class Cigar Lounge, with best-in-class varieties of cigars paired with a large selection of single malt whiskies and Cognac. A selection of free and chargeable cigars are available.

A separate smoking room is also available.

The Residence Lounge

Guests of The Residence will have their own exclusive Lounge within the Lounge, where they will have the undivided attention of the Etihad Butler.

The Residence Lounge has its own separate entrance, a spacious seating area, a private dining room, prayer room and a shower room.
