Our Home - United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) are a group of seven Emirates located on the Eastern side of the Arabian Peninsula, bordered by Saudi Arabia to the South and West, the Sultanate of Oman to the East, and Qatar to the Northwest.

The UAE is a rapidly diversifying society which has successfully integrated its core Islamic values alongside an ambitious economic agenda.

Endowed with rich natural resources, it has diversified its economy and built a reputation as one of the world’s leading tourist destinations.

United Arab Emirates

The first impression of the island city of Abu Dhabi, whether viewed from the air on approach to the international airport, or driving along the impeccably maintained Corniche, is of a thoroughly modern Arabic city, with gleaming skyscrapers and beautifully landscaped gardens.

Behind this modern facade of city life stand the heritage and tradition of its past, which act as the foundation of the emirate and steadfastly molds into the future. Much has changed from the hard nomadic existence of the Bedouins once populating this land to the comfortable affluence of today.

The city is built around a lagoon, though most of the locals call it the Creek, and the Budheirah Corniche that surrounds it is a popular place for an evening stroll and to hire small dhows allowing you to see the city lights from the water.

The small Emirate of Ajman is famous for its boat building and the Dhow Yard is one of the best places to see these traditional craft being built, using skills passed down through generations.

Perhaps the most tranquil of all the Emirates, Ajman is a perfect retreat for those seeking more peaceful surroundings.

Umm Al Quwain is relatively unchanged and provides the visitor with perhaps the closest view of how life in the region was like decades ago.

One of the benefits of its unspoilt charms is the abundant wildlife, in particular the opportunities for bird watching among the shallow tidal mudflats.
