We’d like you to be comfortable on board and to have the
seat of your choice. We’ll always show available seats which you can pay to
select up to 24 hours before your flight. Within 24 hours of your flight, you
can select a remaining seat free of charge, or we will automatically allocate
one to you.
It’s possible that the closer you get to your flight, the
fewer seats will be available for you to select from. This is due to other
guests also booking seats.
Book in Economy and select the type of seat you’d like:
- Economy Space: extra legroom seats, available for a fee
- Neighbour-Free: bid for up to two or three vacant seats next to
yours
- Standard: your choice of seat available to reserve for a fee
before you fly
Even if you don’t choose a seat in advance, we will always
try to keep families or groups on the same booking reference together, however
this will depend on how full the flight is.
Does advance seat booking guarantee my seat?
In almost all cases, you will receive the seat you have
booked. However, last minute operational changes can sometimes affect seat
assignments. If this happens, we will try and choose a similar seat or next
best available seat for you.
Can I get a refund if I don’t get the seat I booked?
If you booked an Economy Space or Economy Standard seat, and
you weren’t given them on board, you are entitled to a full refund.
If you booked one position of seat (for example, window,
middle or aisle) and you were given a different position of seat, you are also
entitled to a full refund.
You are not entitled to a refund in the following cases:
- If you are allocated the same type of seat, but on a different
row (for example, if you booked an Economy Standard seat by the window on one
row e.g. 12A, and you are allocated an Economy Standard seat by the window on
another row e.g. 14A)
- If you upgraded to a higher cabin (for example, if you
previously paid for your choice of seat then you either chose to upgrade
yourself or accepted an upgrade)
- If you chose one type of seat and you then upgrade to a
Neighbour-Free Seat, your original fee will not be refunded
- If you made changes to your flight itinerary after you bought
your seat or if your itinerary was changed by another airline
