Etihad Credit

Etihad Credit lets you exchange the value of your booking and use it towards your next trip.

We’ll add the value of your credit to a Travel Bank account, which you can use to pay for flights within two years.

You must be an Etihad Guest member to be eligible for a Travel Bank account. If you’re not already member, we’ll use the details you enter to enrol you. Please make sure that your name and email address match your original booking.

When you want to book a trip, simply quote your Etihad Guest number.

You’ll receive Etihad Credit within 30 days. We’ll send you an email when your account has been credited.

You can use Etihad Credit to pay for flights for someone else, but you cannot transfer your credit to another account.

Here’s what you need to know before you start:

  • To claim Etihad Credit, you must have booked your flight directly with Etihad Airways for travel before 31 May 2022
  • If you booked with a travel agent or other third party, please contact them to change or cancel your trip
  • Only one form can be submitted per booking
  • If more than one guest is travelling on your booking, we’ll issue Etihad Credit to the lead traveller – this is normally the first guest you enter when you book, who also receives notifications leading up to the trip
  • If you’d prefer to split the credit, please call our Contact Centre – please do not submit a separate form for each guest on the booking
  • You must enter the Etihad Guest member number of the lead traveller only – you will not receive Etihad Credit if you enter an Etihad Guest number for someone who is not travelling on your booking
  • Your date of birth must match the details on your Etihad Guest account
  • If your flight is within 10 days, please call us to arrange your credit – you may be subject to no-show fees otherwise
