Frequently asked questions

Our complimentary Etihad Shuttle service will take you seamlessly between Zayed International Airport and Al Ain city centre. The shuttle will not take you to your hotel. Transfers take around 2 hours and 30 minutes, and you’ll travel in modern, air‑conditioned coaches with two daily departures.

 

You can book Etihad Shuttle when you book your flight or later at etihad.com/manage. Please book at least 24 hours before your flight.

 

Alternatively, taxis are readily available from Zayed International Airport, and it will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Al Ain.

At least three days before your flight, please call us to arrange your hotel stay. When you’ve paid and your booking has been finalised, we’ll send you a voucher to present at hotel check-in.  

  

If you haven’t arranged your flight yet, you can book your flight and hotel together at etihad.com. Simply select where and when you want to travel, enter the duration of your stopover, then choose your hotel in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain.  

  

Remember to make sure you have a pre-arranged UAE visa or are eligible for a visa on arrival. Flights booked through a travel agent are not eligible.

With a stopover package, you can check in or out of your hotel at any time you like, which is perfect if you have a later flight.
