Check-in times are shown in hours and minutes before the departure of your flight.
We’re proud to call Abu Dhabi our home. The capital of the UAE and the crossroads between East and West, from here, so much of the world is within easy reach.
Check-in opens four hours before your scheduled departure time. If you’re travelling in Economy, check-in closes 60 minutes ahead of your flight, or 45 minutes if you’re flying in Business or First.
Flying to the US? Check-in will close two hours before your departure time, and you should arrive at the US preclearance facility 60 minutes before your flight.
If you land in Terminal A, head to Gate F and a shuttle bus will take you to the US preclearance facility.
Register to use the e-border gates in Abu Dhabi to save time at immigration. This is subject to visa requirements.
Checked in online? Simply drop your bags and use the time you’ve saved to shop, dine or unwind.
If you need to declare anything to customs, including the disclosure of cash, you access all customs services online at tamm.abudhabi.

Fast track through the airport with Priority Access. Skip the queues with dedicated check-in counters and priority boarding, and save time when you land too – your bags will be first on the baggage belt so you can simply grab and go.
Priority Access costs US $40 worldwide.
We recommend that you use a credit or debit card for payments at the airport. Some airports no longer accept cash and you may be charged a cash-handling fee at the limited number of airports where cash is accepted.
