Let's go

Infants and children

Infants 7 days - 23 months

If you’re travelling to or from the US and Canada, infants are permitted to take one bag weighing up to 23kg. On all other routes, infants are permitted to take one bag weighing up to 10kg.

Children 2 – 11 years

If your child is booked on a children’s fare, normal baggage rules apply. You can use our baggage calculator to understand how much you can carry.

Pushchairs, carrycots and car seats

If you are travelling with infants and children, you can also carry one pushchair, or one carrycot or one car seat for free, in addition to their checked baggage.

Is there anything else you need to bring?

Power banks and spare batteries

Loose or spare batteries, power banks, e-cigarettes, e-pipes and other personal vaporisers must be placed into your cabin-baggage or kept in your pocket or purse, individually protected. For safety reasons, these items are strictly not allowed in your checked baggage.

You are allowed to carry a maximum of 10 loose or spare batteries, including power banks.

For your electronic devices or spare batteries, the output of Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries must not exceed 100 Watt-hours; the metal content in Lithium-metal batteries must not exceed 2 grams.

Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs)

You may carry up to 15 electronic devices (including a laptop, tablet, e-reader, mobile phone or medical device) on your flight with us, in both your cabin or checked baggage. Any device in checked baggage must be completely switched off (i.e. not in sleep or hibernation mode) and protected from damage.

Apple MacBook Pro recall

Following a safety recall of certain models, all Apple MacBook Pro laptops are only permitted as cabin baggage and cannot be carried within your checked baggage. If your laptop has been recalled, it must remain powered off throughout the flight and cannot be charged on board.

Find out if your laptop has been affected by entering the serial number here.

If any device you are carrying is damaged, hot, produces smoke, is lost or falls into the seat, please inform our cabin crew immediately. Do not try to operate or move the seat as this may damage your device.
