At this time, we are operating special flights to and from Abu Dhabi.
Working closely with the UAE Government and Global Aviation Authorities, our aim is to gradually return to a fuller schedule as soon as circumstances allow. Whilst our network is under continuous review, it remains on sale. All bookings made after 29 April 2020 for travel between 1 July and 31 August 2020, are fully flexible and refundable.

Until 15 June 2020, we’ll be operating a number of flights between Abu Dhabi and destinations around the world to help you return home. All flights are subject to change.
Due to government restrictions across our network, you will be required to check in your cabin baggage before you fly. You will only be permitted to carry a personal item on board, such as a handbag, backpack or laptop bag. This can weigh up to 5kg.

Please get in touch in with the travel agent or third party who booked your trip. They should be able to change or cancel your booking straight away. Al of our policies are the same, regardless of who you booked your flight with.
We’ve put additional cleaning measures in place both on board and on the ground.
Our ground-handling teams follow strict cleaning procedures to disinfect our aircraft after every flight, and all utensils and surfaces are sterilised.
Our aircraft are also fitted with High-Efficiency Particle Filters (HEPA), which renew the entire cabin's air every two to four minutes. These air filtration systems are very effective, eliminating more than 99.8% of all airborne microbes, including dust, germs and pathogens.

Yes. Etihad Credit gives you total flexibility to rebook your trip when and where you’d like. You can choose any destination within the Etihad network or even our extensive Etihad codeshare network.
Yes, you can still cancel the remainder of your journey, then make a new booking when you are ready. To use Etihad Credit, your ticket must be rebooked by 30 September 2020, for travel by 31 August 2021.
Etihad Credit vouchers are non-transferrable and non-refundable.
Yes! As long as your flight was booked to travel between 1 March and 31 July 2020, you can still earn bonus miles. We’ll use the details you provide to enrol you, so you won’t need to do anything else.
If you’ve already submitted your request for Etihad Credit, you can still sign up and claim your bonus miles.
Our home is the sky, and we can’t wait to start flying again. But our services won’t resume again until we know it is safe to do so.

The World Health Organisation has designated the outbreak of Coronavirus a pandemic, and extensive measures have been introduced globally to help limit its spread.
Many flights have been suspended and travel restrictions have been introduced around the world. We’re doing everything we can to keep you up to date with our network changes, or you can check global flight restrictions by visiting the IATA Travel Centre.
The safety of our guests and team is always our main priority, but we’ve taken extra steps during this time to keep you safe. We’ve introduced additional cleaning measures and made changes to our airport procedures, including closing some of our lounges. We’ve also suspended our flights until we know it is safe for everyone to travel again.
Our Contact Centre are experiencing a high volume of calls, and it may take longer than usual for one of our agents to become available. So that we can help as soon as possible, please only call if you were due to travel within 48 hours.
If you've booked a GuestSeat using Etihad Guest Miles and your flight has been impacted, please get in touch with our Contact Centre. GuestSeat tickets are refundable, so you will not be eligible to claim Etihad Credit.
To help you maintain your Tier Status, you’ll earn double Tier Miles on all trips between 1 March – 31 July 2020, and you’ll automatically accrue monthly bonus Tier Miles from 31 March.
If you’re an Etihad Guest member and were due to travel between 1 March and 31 July 2020, you’ll be rewarded with up to 5,000 bonus Etihad Guest Miles and up to $400 when you exchange your booking for Etihad Credit.
