If Abu Dhabi is your final destination, you must have ICA approval from the government of Abu Dhabi before you’ll be permitted to fly.

If you are travelling from another emirate to reach Abu Dhabi airport, you must present a negative COVID-19 test before you will be permitted to enter Abu Dhabi. The test must be valid within 48 hours.

You will only be permitted to enter the UAE if you are a UAE national or resident with a valid visa.
Before you can fly to Abu Dhabi, you must apply for ICA approval. The service will ask for your flight booking reference, though this field is not mandatory and can be left blank.
If your application is successful, you’ll receive a unique ICA approval number, which you will need when your check-in for your flight. If you do not have ICA approval, you will not be accepted at check-in.

PCR testing and temperature screening are in operation at Abu Dhabi airport, and you’ll be asked to wait two metres apart from other guests at all queuing points.
When you arrive in Abu Dhabi, you are permitted to travel without restriction to any other emirate, though you must self-isolate for 14 days.

When we land in Abu Dhabi, you’ll be directed to the airport terminal. Please remember to keep your face mask on and follow the new measures that have been put in place to keep you protected.
Our team will carry out an extensive deep clean of the aircraft, including seats, seatbelts, toilets, tray tables and armrests. As soon as the next aircraft is ready, you’ll board the plane and we’ll continue to our final destination.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, limited food and beverage options are available in Abu Dhabi, and our Duty Free stores and lounges are closed. We will reopen them as soon as we can.
We understand this is a long journey, and we’ll do everything we can to make it as smooth and comfortable as possible for you; you will not need to collect your bags when we land in Abu Dhabi, and our maximum connection time is four hours.

It is compulsory to wear a face mask whilst you travel – at the airport and on board.
Wash your hands at regular intervals and follow social distancing guidelines at all times.
You can only carry one personal item on board weighing up to 5kg. Whether you’re flying in Economy, Business or First, you can check in your remaining cabin baggage for free.
We’ve made some changes on board to optimise the space between you and other guests.
We’ll offer our onboard food and drinks service in line with important COVID-19 guidelines.
Our Wellness Ambassadors are available 24/7 before or during your trip, and you’ll receive a Wellness Kit on board.
