Earning miles for tickets
 

  • Flights marketed by EL AL Israel Airlines and operated by a third-party carrier other than EL AL Israel Airlines or Etihad Airways will not be eligible for Etihad Guest Miles accrual.
  • Charter flights operated by EL AL Israel Airlines are not eligible for mileage accrual.
  • Flights taken on EL AL Israel Airlines are not eligible to earn Etihad Guest Tier Miles and therefore, do not contribute to earning or maintaining your Etihad Guest Tier.
  • Missing Etihad Guest Miles can be claimed up to six months from the date of travel.
  • Etihad Guest Miles will be credited to your account within two weeks post your flight activity.
     

Spending miles for tickets
 

  • Reward seats are subject to availability.
  • Rewards are only valid on EL AL Israel Airlines operated flights when booked on the flight code LY.
  • Reward tickets are not valid on codeshare flights.
  • A reward ticket for a child and/ or infant will be charged the adult mileage value and must be booked in the same booking as the accompanying adult.
  • Reward tickets are valid for a maximum period of one year from the original date of issue.
  • Using miles for upgrades on EL AL Israel Airlines are not permitted.
  • Reward values are exclusive of taxes, fuel surcharge and other charges. These need to be paid separately.
  • Date change and cancellation rules are as per the Etihad Guest Terms and Conditions.
  • Stopovers are permitted, based on EL AL Israel Airlines terms and conditions.
  • Name changes are not permitted.
