Abu Dhabi, UAE – Etihad Guest has reduced its tier qualification thresholds by 25% across all membership tiers, allowing members to retain their current status or move to the next tier with fewer Etihad Guest Tier Miles than previously required.
From 18 March, the reduced thresholds will apply automatically to all Etihad Guest members globally, they do not need to register or take any additional action for the change to apply. Members can retain their current status with the reduced Tier Miles within their existing 12-month qualification period and achieve each new tier status with the reduced qualifications until 31 March 2027.
The adjustment provides greater flexibility for members whose travel plans may have been affected in recent weeks.
The change recognises that many members have experienced disruptions to their travel plans in recent weeks and provides greater flexibility for members working towards retaining or upgrading their tier status.
Etihad Guest remains committed to supporting its members during this period, ensuring they can continue to enjoy the benefits of the programme while travel plans are adjusted.
Etihad Guest Tier Miles can be earned on any flight across the Etihad or select frequent flyer partner airlines’ global networks. Etihad Guest Miles can be redeemed on flights, worldwide hotel stays and holidays, or shop from a variety of products from the Etihad Guest Reward Shop.
