  • Effective 27 Oct 2025, flights taken on Ethiopian Airlines are eligible to earn Etihad Guest Miles.
  • Flights marketed by Ethiopian Airlines and operated by a third-party carrier other than Etihad Airways are not eligible to earn Etihad Guest Miles.
  • Charter flights operated by Ethiopian Airlines are not eligible for mileage accrual.
  • Flights taken on Ethiopian Airlines are not eligible to earn Etihad Guest Tier Miles.
  • Missing Etihad Guest Miles can be claimed up to twelve months after the date of travel. Boarding pass would need to be presented in order to claim missing miles.
  • Etihad Guest Miles will be credited to your account two weeks post your flight activity.
  • Reward tickets are subject to availability.
  • Rewards are only valid on Ethiopian Airlines operated flights when booked on the flight code ET.
  • Reward tickets are not valid on codeshare flights
  • Reward ticket for a child and infant will be charged the adult mileage value and must be booked in the same booking as the accompanying adult.
  • Reward tickets are valid for a maximum period of one year from the original date of issue
  • Using miles for upgrades on Ethiopian Airlines is not permitted
  • Reward values are exclusive of taxes, fuel surcharge and other charges. These need to be paid separately.
  • Date change and cancellation rules are as per the Etihad Guest Terms and Conditions.
  • Stopovers are permitted, based on Ethiopian Airlines terms and conditions
  • Name changes are not permitted.
