Frequently asked questions

Miles on the Go lets you earn or spend miles on everyday purchases in the UAE. 

Whenever you shop with a Miles on the Go partner, you’ll receive a notification via the app asking whether you’d like to earn or spend miles. 

If you choose to:

  • Earn miles: Miles will automatically be credited to your account within six hours. You’ll also automatically earn miles if you don’t respond to the notification.

  • Spend miles: Select the number of miles you’d like to spend. The equivalent amount will also be credited back to your Visa card as cashback.    

Miles will be credited to your account within two weeks to give you time to exchange or refund products without impacting your balance. 

Your Visa card must be issued from the list of eligible countries below.

You’ll earn one Etihad Guest Mile and one Tier Mile for every AED 3 you spend with any of our Miles on the Go partners. A minimum transaction amount of AED 50 applies.

You’ll earn cashback to your card every time you choose to spend miles with a Miles on the Go partner. 

When you select the number of miles you’d like to spend, the equivalent amount will be credited back to your card in dirhams.
