Infants and children
Infants 7 days – 23 months
If you’re travelling to or from the US and Canada, infants are permitted to take one bag weighing up to 23kg. On all other routes, infants are permitted to take one bag weighing up to 10kg.
Children 2 – 11 years
If your child is booked on a children’s fare, normal baggage rules apply.
Pushchairs, carrycots and car seats
If you are travelling with infants and children, you can also carry one pushchair, or one carrycot or one car seat for free, in addition to their checked baggage.
Children’s travel accessories
To help children sit or sleep comfortably on our flights, most travel accessories are permitted on board, including JetKidsTM BedBoxTM, Plane Pal and Fly Tot, subject to certain conditions. The accessory must be securely stowed during take-off and landing. Accessories that attach to any part of the seat are not permitted.
Carrying items that are larger than our standard baggage dimensions?
If your items weigh no more than your maximum baggage allowance, you’ll just be charged an oversized baggage fee each way of your flight. Individual items weighing more than 32kg or with any single dimension longer than 300cm will not be accepted.
Pay US $40 each way for flights within the Middle East, between the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent and between Beijing and Nagoya.
For all other flights, including US and Canada, you’ll pay US $60 each way.
Bikes, scuba diving equipment, skis, poles, ski boots, surfboards and golf bags are all exempt from oversized baggage fees. These items can be included as part of your baggage allowance as long as they weigh no more than 32kg and do not exceed the maximum dimensions of 300cm.
Is there anything else you need to bring?
You can carry one set of clubs for free, weighing up to 15kg. This is in addition to your baggage allowance. One set may consist of clubs, balls and one pair of golf shoes. If you’re carrying a golf umbrella separately, this will count as an additional item and fees may apply.
