Transfers to a connecting flight at Singapore are currently restricted

As of 26th April 2021, Etihad Airways and Garuda Indonesia guests are able to transit through Singapore Changi Airport. Please read the information below to ensure your journey is eligible.

Your connecting flight must be operated by Garuda Indonesia (GA) and all flights must be booked on one ticket, with no more than 48 hours transit time in Singapore. Your baggage will be through checked from origin to your final destination.

When transferring, you will need to wear a wristband which is provided and wait within the dedicated Transit Holding Area. Our ground staff will assist you to this area, and to your gate when your connecting flight is ready for boarding.

If you are transferring in Singapore from an Etihad flight:

You will only be permitted to transfer to a Garuda Indonesia (GA) flight, when your Etihad (EY) flight landing in Singapore originates from one the following countries:

  • UAE
  • Bahrain
  • Jordan
  • Lebanon
  • Oman
  • Seychelles
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Kuwait
  • Egypt
  • Morocco
  • US
  • Canada
  • EU Schengen Area
  • Ireland
  • Russian Federation
  • Turkey
  • Indonesia

If you are transferring in Singapore to an Etihad flight:

Your inbound flight must be operated by Garuda Indonesia (GA).  All other conditions outlined for connecting in Singapore will apply.
