More information

1.  This offer provides a 25% reduction in the Tier qualification criteria for eligible members to retain their current Tier or attain their next Tier. The offer is effective from 18 March 2026 until 31 March 2027 (inclusive).

2.  This offer applies to existing Etihad Guest members who held a Bronze, Silver, Gold,  Platinum tier status as of 18 March 2026.

3.  No registration is required. Eligible members will automatically receive the reduced Tier thresholds for their Tier qualification period, whether for Tier retention or progression to the next Tier.

4. Reduced tier requirements apply only to the standard published Tier Miles requirements for Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers as set out on the Etihad Guest website. This offer does not amend the threshold required to qualify for the Emerald tier. The revised Total Tier Miles requirement for each tier is set out below. These Total Tier Miles must include a minimum number of Tier Miles from Qualifying Flights in line with the Tier Miles from flying column below.

5. Members’ standard rolling 12‑month qualification period remains unchanged. Only the Tier Miles required to retain or attain a Tier are reduced by 25% for the duration of this offer.

6. Eligible Etihad Guest members who meet the above Tier qualification criteria before 31 March 2027, to retain their current Tier will have their Tier retained following their existing Tier end date. Thereafter, the Tier Miles required for Tier retention shall revert to the standard 100% published requirements on the Etihad Guest website.

7. Eligible Etihad Guest members who meet the above Tier qualification criteria before 31 March 2027 for attainment of the next Tier will be upgraded upon meeting the above requirements.

8. During the offer period (ending 31 March 2027), members may continue to upgrade multiple times by meeting the applicable Tier qualification criteria for each subsequent Tier (for example, from Silver to Gold and from Gold to Platinum), provided each upgrade is achieved on or before 31 March 2027. Members who qualify for a tier under the reduced requirements above will receive the same Core Benefits, Custom Benefits and Beyond Benefits (as applicable) for that tier as set out in the Etihad Guest programme rules.

9.  Etihad Guest Tier Miles that were earned from Qualifying Flights completed on or before 31 March 2027, but were not initially credited, may be claimed in accordance with the Etihad Guest Programme rules.

10. All other Etihad Guest Programme Terms and Conditions apply.

11.  Etihad Guest reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel this offer at any time without prior notice.

12. Etihad Guest reserves the right to audit and verify member activity. Any misuse, suspected fraud or breach of programme rules may lead to disqualification from the offer and/or tier adjustments.

  1. Tiers are valid for a period of 12 months from the month the member qualifies for a tier, except Bronze.  
  2. For Tier upgrades, the qualification period is calculated on a rolling 12-month period, including current month. If a member earns the required number of Tier Miles in this period, the tier qualification is met. Note that for Emerald tier qualification, the qualifying spends do not include taxes.
  3. For Tier renewals, the qualification period is calculated as the 12-month period that ends with your current tier end date. For example, if you upgrade on 21 March in the current year, your tier is valid till 31 March the next year. Your qualification period for renewal is 01 April of the current year until 31 March of the next year. Note that should a member exercise their Tier extension benefit, the qualification period for tier renewal will accordingly be adjusted as per the new tier expiry date.
  4. The Tier renewal criteria is as follows:
    • Silver - 20,000 Tier Miles (10,000 from flying)
    • Gold - 40,000 Tier Miles (20,000 from flying)
    • Platinum - 100,000 Tier Miles (40,000 from flying)
    • Emerald - $150,000 spend on Etihad flights (excluding taxes)
  5. The validity of Etihad Guest Miles will be extended by 18 months based on qualifying member flight activity.
  6. If you're a member of any other programme (for instance UAEGOV), you can take either the baggage allowance that you're entitled to as part of that programme, or the baggage allowance that you're entitled to as an Etihad Guest member. You will not be entitled to both.
  7. Members might be requested to show their Etihad Guest card or digital card on the Etihad app to our staff to avail benefits.

  1. Eligibility of benefits and quantity of vouchers per tier is showcased in the table above.  
  2. Member can only avail their benefits/voucher during their tier validity period only. 
  3. Members must choose their custom & beyond benefits before they arrive at the airport.  
  4. Once the member chooses their custom & beyond benefits, they cannot be changed for their tier validity period.  
  5. Additional benefit T&Cs apply when the member chooses their benefits from the Account profile section on the website & app. The T&Cs can be viewed during the selection 
  6. On board Wifi: To access onboard Wi-Fi benefits, Etihad Guest members need to activate their account 
  7. Dedicated and Priority Check In: Etihad Guest Silver members are eligible to access dedicated check-in counters in the economy hall at Island C, Zayed International Airport. Etihad Guest Gold and Platinum members can use the premium business and first check-in counters respectively at any airport, including Zayed International Airport. Applicable on Etihad Airways operated flights and with select partner airlines.
  8. Guaranteed Economy & Business: We can only guarantee a seat in Economy/Business for the Etihad Guest member who’s travelling with a Deluxe fare. We cannot guarantee a seat on restricted or overbooked flights. 
  9. Bonus Etihad Guest Miles: Members will be eligible to earn Etihad Guest Bonus Miles when they add their membership number to the eligible bookings on Etihad Airways flights, Virgin Australia flights, Saudia Airlines, Gulf Air flights and Serbia flights only. Bonus miles will depend on the respective tier. When a member reaches the threshold of beyond benefits, they can choose Bonus Etihad Guest Miles that will be added automatically into their account upon selection.  
  10. Priority baggage & Immigration: As of April 2024, fast track immigration and baggage is available for all Etihad Guest Gold Tier members and above travelling in Economy Class from Amsterdam, Athens, Casablanca, Chicago, Frankfurt, Geneva, Istanbul, Manchester, Milan, Munich, Osaka, Rome, Singapore, Tokyo and Toronto. Fast track is also available for all Etihad Guest members travelling in Business or First Class from Bangkok, Colombo, Dusseldorf, Jeddah, Karachi, Kochi, Kuwait, London, Maldives, New Delhi, New York, Sydney, Vienna, Washington and Zurich. 
  11. Priority Boarding: Priority boarding is available for Etihad Guest Gold and above members flying to and from worldwide airports. 
  12. Dedicated Contact Center: Etihad Guest Gold and above members have access to a contact centre operated 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 
  13. Same day flexibility: You won't be able to change your flight if your current flight or new flight has already started boarding or check-in has closed. You must be checked-in onto your original flight before requesting for this change. The new flight you wish to book should depart a minimum of 4 hours earlier from your original flight departure time. If you decide to change your flight, any extras you paid for on the original flight won’t be refunded. No special service request will be carried forward to the new flight. We will not be able to fulfil this request during flight disruptions. 
  14. Complimentary Chauffeur: Our chauffeur service provides travel between Zayed International Airport and your home or hotel in the UAE. You must have a Business Value Saver award booking. Available for travel on either your inbound or outbound flight only, and cannot be used more than once per ticket. Tickets upgraded with miles do not qualify as Saver Award seats, and will not be eligible for this chauffeur service. Original fare inclusions apply.
  15. Complimentary Chauffer - Economy: Our chauffeur service provides travel between Zayed International Airport and your home or hotel in the UAE. You must have an Economy class booking in a Comfort or Deluxe fare. This benefit is not applicable on Saver Award fares.
  16. Lounge Access: Access to the lounges at Zayed International Airport is available only for Etihad Guest members flying on Etihad Airways operated flights. Etihad Guest Gold members travelling in Economy are not eligible to access the U.S. Preclearance lounge or the Arrivals lounge. Etihad guest members traveling on codeshare flights, for instance, flights that are marketed by Etihad Airways and operated by other airlines, are not eligible to access Etihad premium lounges. Etihad Guest Gold and above members travelling on Etihad Airways operated flights may access our worldwide lounges (excluding skyteam and oneworld lounges). For companion access, the accompanying guest must be on the same flight booking.
  17. Membership Extension: You can use this benefit to extend your Tier validity by 6 months one time during the lifetime of your account. To use this benefit, your account needs to be active. If you don't use this benefit while it's available to you, you won't be able to use it later or when you're in a different tier. Once the benefit is utilised, the revised Tier renewal period is calculated and showcased on the tier tracker in the member profile. Tier renewal period is the 12 months period prior to the new tier end date.
  18. Tier buy back : You can only apply if your tier is set to expire within two months. Apply at least fourteen days before your tier expiration date. If member does not have sufficient Etihad Guest Miles at the time of the request, you will continue to follow the programme rules. This benefit does not apply to Etihad Reward Card holders, only to Silver and Gold Tier members with a valid co-brand card. 
  19. Gold & Silver nomination: Applicable only when you attain the Tier or when you reach unlock Beyond benefits. 
  20. Business Saver Award reserve: We can only guarantee a Saver Award seat for the Etihad Guest Emerald Tier member, excluding restricted or overbooked flights.
  21. Reward Shop Vouchers: The value of each voucher is stated when the member chooses the benefit. Issued vouchers will remain valid till their expiry period even if your tier changes 
  22. Home Check-In: One voucher can be used for one leg of the journey. All members of the PNR can be checked in however with a maximum of 2 bags only. Home check-in is unavailable for any flights to the US. The service is available within Abu Dhabi and Al Ain only. 
  23. Seat selection: Eligible Etihad Guest members are entitled to choose from seats in Economy or Business, based on their Core and/or Custom benefits.
  24. Complimentary Upgrade: Complimentary upgrades can only be used on Etihad flights to or from Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Qassim, Dammam, Cairo, Tel Aviv, Kuwait, Bahrain, Doha, Muscat, Amman, Beirut, Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi. Return flights count as two upgrades. 
  25. Discount Baggage: Discount on excess baggage must be purchased on etihad.com before arriving at the airport during pre-sale. Discounts are not applicable at check-in desk. There is no limit on the number of extra bags you can get a discount on.  
  26. Excess baggage allowance cannot be combined with any other baggage benefit and does not apply to any Basic fare brand.  
  27. Refund or Cancellation Waiver: The request must be made at least 24 hours before the departure of the first un-flown flight. Cancellation charges are determined based on the applicable policy at the time of purchase and may vary depending on the time of cancellation and the member's tier. This is not applicable for upgraded tickets. Refund or cancellation is valid on the entire ticket. The request can only be made for tickets issued for Saver Award seats where the member’s account was used to redeem miles. The voucher owner’s Etihad Guest number must match the membership number used on the ticket(s). 
  28. Lounge Pass: Once you share your voucher, it can't be refunded unless the flight is cancelled. Please note that your voucher will be considered used once you confirm your booking, regardless of lounge usage. 
  29. Priority Access: You can share your Priority Access voucher with anyone you choose. The beneficiary will be able to view the priority access voucher when they check-in online. The voucher must be used during the duration of the tier 
  30. Al Wathba National Insurance: All Etihad Guest Members are eligible for ‘up to 30% off + additional AED 100 off’ valid for Car Insurance product. Please use code ‘ETIHAD’ before checkout to avail this special discount, valid until 31st December 2024 on AL Wathba National Insurance website.  
  31. As a standard benefit, all Etihad Guest Platinum Tier members and above are eligible to 15 minutes of complimentary spa service at Zayed International Airport.

You can enjoy your Custom Benefits as many times as you like, unless the benefit comes with a set number of vouchers.

Once you receive an email from Etihad Guest confirming your new tier, your Core Benefits will begin immediately. You’ll also get an email inviting you to choose your Custom Benefits. Be sure to make your selection within 30 days; otherwise, your Custom Benefits will be automatically assigned. It’s important to choose your Custom Benefits before you travel, as they may not be available if left unselected.
