Who is eligible for travel insurance?

Both FlySafe and FlySafe Plus cover is available for residents of Bahrain and the UAE aged 79 years old or younger. More countries will soon be added to the coverage list.

With FlySafe Plus, you can access Doctor please! service that offers remote medical consultation,​ medical advice & treatment options

Download the Doctor Please! Application from the Apple store or the Google play store, register with the access code provided in your Fly Safe Plus insurance certificate and book an appointment :

  • With English or Spanish speaking doctors on  24/7/365 with direct access via call back, via the Application (with video capabilities)
  • With French speaking doctors on 24/7/365 via call back by phone or via the application (with video capabilities from 8am to 8pm CET on weekdays)
  • With German speaking doctors via call back via the application from 8am to 9pm (CET) on weekdays or from 8am to 8pm (CET) on weekend (with video capabilities from 8am to 8pm CET on weekdays).
  • With Italian speaking doctors via call back via the application from 8am to 8pm (CET) on weekdays.

You can upload useful documents before your consultation, including scans, test results and medical reports. If medically justified following your consultation, prescription is delivered in the app or the nearest pharmacy.

Please make sure to have your policy details, including your policy number, and Etihad Airways booking confirmation handy.

A representative will review your claim and explain what type of information they need. You will need to fax or mail the claim form with any additional documentation. 

Claims will be processed within 21 days of receiving the required documentation.
