You no longer need a test to fly to Abu Dhabi if you’re vaccinated or you’re under 16, or you hold a valid COVID-19 recovery certificate. Always check the travel requirements for your final destination.

That depends on where you’re flying to and your vaccination status.
If you’re flying to Abu Dhabi as your final destination:
If you’re flying to any other destination, you only need to take a test if it is required at your final destination.

If your final destination doesn’t require a test, you won’t need one to transit through Abu Dhabi regardless of your vaccination status. Always check the test requirements and exemptions for your final destination.
You should take your test at the specified time at an accredited clinic. Depending on where you’re flying to, there may specific clinics where you need to take your test.

If you need a PCR test, we accept RT-PCR and NAAT PCR tests.
If your final destination is Abu Dhabi, to be fully vaccinated your vaccine certificate must contain a QR code and you must have received two doses of the same vaccine, or one dose of Janssen, which should be one of the following vaccinations:
AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience Co Ltd. from Korea), Covishield, Covovax, Covaxin, *Janssen, Moderna, Nuvaxovid, Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac, Sputnik V.
No booster is required and you can have taken your vaccine at any time.

You must prove that you’re fully vaccinated and hold a negative PCR test result issued within 14 days before you enter public places in Abu Dhabi. You can do this by presenting the health app from your country of residence, or the Al Hosn app.
If you’d like to use the Al Hosn app, you must register via the ICA before you fly to Abu Dhabi.
Otherwise, it’s not mandatory to register.
