The world’s most popular music stars join the best drivers on the planet on Abu Dhabi race weekend. Ever since the first Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2009, these unique After-Race Concerts have been held exclusively for Grand Prix ticket holders in the UAE capital.
See Khalid and Lewis Capaldi put on a show like no other at this year’s event, while ith more headline performers still to be announced for the Grammy Award-winning Foo Fighters will close the much-awaited extravaganza with a bang.
The very first Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi F1™ Grand Prix After-Race Concerts saw Beyoncé, Kings of Leon, Aerosmith and Jamiroquai dazzle the crowd. That set the bar for following shows, with rap megastar Kanye West, nu-metal kings Linkin Park and music legend Prince continuing the trend in 2010. Since then, everyone from Paul McCartney to Britney Spears, Jay-Z, The Who, Blur and Enrique Iglesias have graced the same stage.
The 2019 headliners were renowned DJ Marshmello, rapper Future, singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey and rockers The Killers – showcasing the world-class and varied artists the After-Race Concerts attract.
Entrance to each After-Race Concert is exclusive for F1™ ticket holders and is included in your ticket price. You’ll need to have your ticket scanned at Yas Marina Circuit over race weekend to gain access to the concerts.
You can attend different concerts, depending on your ticket type for the F1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix:
One Day – attend the concert that same day
Two day (Saturday and Sunday) – can attend the concerts on both nights
Three day (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) – can attend the concerts every night
All ticket holders can also attend Thursday’s concert, where Khalid will be in action on the stage – the perfect F1™ warm up.
You’ll need to enter the Yas Marina Circuit to activate your tickets for the after-race concerts. The arena enforces single entry or one-time admission only, so you won’t be able to return if you leave the premises. Ask any staff for directions if you’re unsure where to go – they’ll be happy to help.
The concerts are extremely popular, and the venue operates on a first-come first-served basis, so if you’re looking forward to enjoying an evening of world-class entertainment, make sure you head to the venue early to grab some refreshments and guarantee your spot.
Once the venue is full, you won’t be able to enter.
Yes, a Golden Circle Upgrade is available for Formula 1™ Etihad Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021 ticket holders. 3-day ticket holders are even eligible for a discounted 4-night package upgrade.
This is a great option for those who want to be seated directly in front of the stage for front row access to some of the world’s biggest music artists. You’ll also benefit from fast-track entry and dedicated beverage points.
Once purchased, pick up your Golden Circle wristband at your Official Yas Merchandise Outlet in your allocated Oasis Area. Please note that only one Golden Circle Upgrade is permitted per each Formula 1™ ticket purchased.
There will be three headliners for each Abu Dhabi Grand Prix After-Race Concert.
This year, rock legends the Foo Fighters will headline the Sunday and close the epic weekend in style, while multi-award-winning US artist Khalid will kick off proceedings on Thursday. Rapper Stormzy is locked in to entertain concertgoers on the Friday evening. Fellow British superstar Lewis Capaldi will join the long line of platinum-selling artists who have delivered performances at the F1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concert on the Saturday night.
Every Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concert takes place at Etihad Park– a 10-minute walk from Yas Marina Circuit. Follow the signs (and the crowds) directing you to the arena. If you’re driving to the concert, park in Yas Mall. A free shuttle bus goes to the arena, with drop-off zones at Yas Plaza Hotel, Yas Mall, Yas Marina and Gate 19.
Arrive early as doors open at 6pm. Check your ticket for the right gate to speed up your entry. General admission ticket holders should head to Gate 2, where there are 30 lanes to use. Expect any large bags to be thoroughly searched by security.
When inside, stay refreshed at the food and drink stalls in The Village. Relax in preparation or enjoy the pre-show buzz with complimentary live music, showcasing local talent.
Etihad Park (formally du Arena) opened in 2009, just in time for the inaugural Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi F1™ Grand Prix. It has held the legendary After-Race Concerts ever since. As the region’s largest open-air event facility, at full capacity it can host up to 35,000 people.
It’s just a 10-minute walk from Yas Marina Circuit and a 15-minute stroll from Yas Mall. The outdoor arena allows for starlit performances and incredible views of the fireworks that traditionally end the four-day celebration.
Inside the arena is The Village – a 7,000-square-metre space where you’ll find food and drink options, live music and spots to relax. Ten hospitality suites offer the best views and service, along with VIP platforms to make your experience truly special.
Get ready to rock, bounce and party by enjoying the full evening’s entertainment at each After-Race Concert. Gates open at 6pm and the entertainment usually starts between 8.30pm and 9pm. Most headline shows will last between 90 and 120 minutes.

Dress comfortably as you may be standing or seated at the concert. Etihad Park is an outdoor venue, so bear that in mind. There is no strict dress code.
